Unwoven Collective is structured, with intent, to provide multiple solution-based approaches to these complex problems through research, impact investment, and national and international grantmaking.
The human spirit is our greatest resource
Because philanthropic and government funding alone cannot overcome our greatest social and environmental challenges, impact investing plays a pivotal role by leveraging the power of private capital for good.
The main difference between an impact fund and a foundation is the way in which they generate and distribute funds for their respective causes. An impact fund is a type of investment vehicle, which means it generates funds through the investment of capital by individual investors or institutions. The returns on these investments are then used to fund the impact fund’s initiatives.

We lift up voices for progress
In contrast, a foundation is a non-profit organization that typically generates funds through donations from individuals, corporations, or other organizations. These funds are then used to support the foundation’s charitable work.
We strive to form long-term, personal connections with the nonprofit organizations we support through a lens of inclusivity.
Data provides a critical component of decision making because it provides a factual basis for understanding a situation and making choices. Without data, decisions are often based on assumptions, opinions, or subjective information, which can be unreliable and lead to poor outcomes.
By analyzing data, decision makers can identify trends, patterns, and relationships that can help them make more informed and effective decisions.
